We were very excited to form our group in August 2012. We are a group of 18 women and our Community Facilitator is Ncamsile Nyathikazi. We live in the Samungu area near the Inanda Dam, Durban. Many people in our area want to improve or build better homes for themselves, so we have decided to make blocks to sell so that we can improve our homes. These blocks are also sold to our community so they can either improve or build homes for themselves. This group is for us so that we can be stronger and better ourselves and as a community, that is why we chose our name Yona Yethu , an isiZulu phrase that means ‘It is for us’.
Building blocks for the future enrichment of our community.
